SEP. 20 CONCERT LA PORTE NOIRE
Hello friends! Yesterday we had a superb night at La Porte Noire. A big thank you to the cheerfully participating audience and the warm welcome from the bar staff. It's our 2nd time playing at La Porte Noire and we love this cosy pub! For those who missed us: we will be back by the end of October!
SEP. 17 WEEKEND IN PARIS
Last weekend we had the opportunity to play at La Barricade in Paris. This cultural cafe, meeting point for artists, got us on the stage in a very intimate atmosphere - great acoustic - and for a very specific public. Definitely a place not to be missed if you are around Belleville!
SEP. 10 STARTING A NEW SEASON
We are getting back on stage after our intense music summer. We have lots to tell you in our show: how the tour went, who we met in the summer academy, which are our new projects... JUN. 10 MADE IN BRUX TOUR 2013
WE GO ON TOUR! Next Monday we are embarking to our new musical adventure towards France and Catalonia. We will start to play on June 17 in Paris and will finish on June 28 in Tarragona. On this long way we will be stopping in different places where you are more than welcome to come and enjoy our music! Check all the information of the tour on our CONCERTS page and don't forget to make sure you can attend at least one of our shows! :-)

MAY. 24 A VERY SPECIAL CONCERT
The month of May is our "art month". This time, our music has been accompained by the andalusian ambiance from EDIFICIO's Hotel Wielemans. Hotel Wielemans is a charming, picturesque venue that delights guests with its Hispano-Moresque design from the Art Deco period (1925). A unique concert at a unique place in Brussels. www.edificio.be
MAY. 15 DE BONSKI'S
Do you already know De Bonski's? We have had the pleasure to be recording a song for their new CD! Probably most French speaking people know "A la Claire Fontaine", but...Can you imagine it sung in Dutch? So, whether you are curious of the result, or you are learning Dutch and want to do it in a very international way, this will be a must buy CD. Different foreigners living in Belgium will take part in the project, singing well known international songs in Dutch. Follow De Bonski's on Facebook!
MAY. 11 CONCERT AMONG PAINTINGS
In May we have had the honour to play at Espace Art Gallery in Brussels at a very special concert. Public and musicians where sourounded by paintings from Philippe Louguet - Traces Projetees, resulting in a musical explosion of colours for everyone in the Gallery. www.espaceartgallery.be.

APR. 23 ROSES, LOVE & BOOKS
One of the nicest days in Catalonia is St George's Day, called Sant Jordi in Catalan. Roses and Books become the center of attention every 23rd of April, when men give a rose to their lovers and women offer a book to theirs. Or women receive also books...Or men receive also roses! Why not? For this year, we also have our proposal: offer our CD 'Made in Brux', fresh as a rose and durable as a book. Love comes included in the music!
MAR. 26 MORE THAN ST PATRICK'S
The month of March has been very intensive! We played at Rusthuis Alexius in Tienen, at Micromarche for the Bienvenus a Bruxelles Festival and in other different places to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. We had the oportunity to open the exhibition of the 'Irish in Europe' at Halles Sain Gery and also play at a powerful concert night at La Porte Noire. Furthermore we were invited for the second year in a row by the Old Oak to play during the Pre-Parade Breakfast! To be honest, Saint Patrick keeps us in form for the rest of the year! FEB. 22 TOUR 2013
For those who couldn't make it to one of our concerts, or just didn't know us, we have good news. Note in your agenda we'll be on tour again in spring 2013 between 16th and 28th of June. We’ll be driving through Belgium, France and Catalonia. (Dates of concerts and places to come).
JAN. 29 ON AIR-CELTIC MUSIC RADIO Ross Macfayden and Victor led the show where Formiga introduced them to “Made in Brux”, the first EP from Formiga and Cigale. Without Cigale and her harp, the live tunes were accompanied by songwriter and guitar player Patrick Bullen. To listen to the interview, click here.

JAN. 6 GET YOUR MADE IN BRUX
Our 1st EP called “Made in Brux” has come to life last October.
The work includes some of our best tunes and songs. Listen to some of them on this website. “Made in Brux” is already being played in lots places around France, Belgium, Catalonia and Scotland! Get your own copy through our contact form and make us sound worldwide!
DEC. 15 TOUR 2012: HOW WAS IT?
As most of you know, we had a great tour in November-December 2012.
During 10 days we played in different pubs, restaurants, churches, theaters and cultural associations from around France and Catalonia. Despite the cold, we were always welcomed by a warm public. To all that have listened to us:thanks for your support!
NOV. 7 ON THE ROAD TOUR BEGINS
From 30th Nov. till 11th Dec. we’ll be driving through Europe. This time we won’t drive up to Scotland, but to southern countries: France and Catalonia.
During two weeks we will be On the Road bringing our arranged hits to the crowds. Don’t hesitate to spread news around and keep track of our final concert dates on this website and on our facebook events page!
We will also be online during the whole tour. So if you can’t make it, you can always live the online “Big Brother Tour” with Formiga & Cigale.
NOV. 1 OUR FIRST EP IS READY
Thanks to the effort of our closest friends and family, we have been able to record our first EP in a decent way :-p
Last 29th and 30th October we spent hours and hours in Studio Carlo Ooms in Bocholt to make sure you can get us home with you after our next concert.
